About us
Founded by DhoTjai in april 2007 as a small online radio named AZN Radio. DhoTjai started with the radio for local friends and cyberfriends only, later ChronoTjai came up with an idea to make it bigger (worldwide). He took his friends (Korky and 2k) to our meeting, to talk about what we can improve. First idea was to make a better, graphical and user friendly website. We formed a group of 4 people: DhoTjai, ChronoTjai, Korky and 2k. Our organization is purely non-profit, meaning we only continue to run as long as donations permit. Al donations are used to cover our rent and servers, currently DT Interlink is helping us out! Thanks DT INTERLINK!! We highly appreciate them, they have been supporting us alot.
The radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, playing a mix of Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean and so on). Not only we do play the best of today's hits, but also the best from yesterday as well!! Our music genre is mainly easy listening and targeted for fans of Asian music. Our weekly broadcasts also feature shows with live DJs loaded with a variety of talk and interactive activities for listeners.
We constantly strive to show the world the best and newest Asian music from Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and so forth. Our mission extends beyond just playing music for your everyday lives, but also creating a fun and interactive environment for listeners as well.
AZN Radio is always looking for volunteer help as we have lots of work, but not enough help to accomplish it all. We are currently looking for any sort of help in the following categories:
- Forum moderators
- Advertising / Marketing
- DJs
- Developers / Programmers
